Okay, so I had to buy another ebookwise book reader. If you know me, then you know that awhile ago I dropped and broke my first one when coming out of the man-trap at work.
The price has gone up a few bucks since I bought my first one, so I looked around the interweb to see if there was another bargain deal around for another kind of reader, and unfortunately... there was none. I know some people would suggest that I just buy a Sony eReader, or an Iliad, or a PDA, or whatever... but you know what, I don't want to spend $300 when all I really want is something to read books on. The eBookwise lets me make readable files out of .html, .txt, .rtf, .doc files, and that's good enough for me. I can find my stories on the web, convert them with the Librarian software, and carry them around with me to read. And if I go to Webscriptions, Fictionwise, etc, I can download books directly for the eBookwise, and that's cool. I just get so tired of how greedy a lot of publishers are. I mean, when you make an ebook you don't have to pay for printing and shipping costs so you would think the price would reflect that. But companies are so greedy that they charge the same price for some ebooks as they would for a printed book. And when you're done reading an ebook... you can't even sell it to someone else. So how lame is that?

I've been having a really hard time with tikiwiki. I think it's driving me just a little bit crazy and I don't quite know how to find what I'm looking for so I can fix what's wrong. Argh!
